Tara L. Kozlowski, Attorney at Law

Prior to attending Law School in 2003, Mrs. Kozlowski graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Chemistry. Realizing very quickly her love for science did not translate well in the real world, she worked as a manager for a mid-sized corporation.

While the business world was engaging, her love of logic and problem solving ultimately led her to law school in the great state of Ohio. Upon her graduation from law school, Mrs. Kozlowski began her law career in 2006 with a small general practice firm in Monroe, Michigan, just south of Detroit. Mrs. Kozlowski then relocated to North Carolina in 2007 where she continued to work as a general practice attorney. In 2011, Mrs. Kozlowski focused her practice on Family Law, Traffic matters, Estate Planning and Civil Litigation as an associate with the Alford Law Firm, located in North Raleigh.

In May of 2014, Mrs. Kozlowski moved to the Raleigh Law Center, excited for the opportunity to further her career by focusing on family law and estate planning. Mrs. Kozlowski enjoys working in a small office environment where she is able to provide each client with the attention they deserve and require. Outside of the office, Mrs. Kozlowski enjoys spending time with her family, traveling as much as possible, and playing with her dogs, Molly and Barkley.

Mess E. Dog

For those who frequent Raleigh Law Center, you know and love Messy. Messy is a working girl who loves coming to work every day to meet clients, eat treats and sun in the window. No stranger to divorce, Messy was abandoned in 2011 when a couple in Charleston separated. She was placed in Carolina Boxer Rescue after a brief stint in the local dog shelter. The Hopkins family rescued Messy and she has lived happily with them ever since although she wouldn’t mind living with Raleigh Law Center’s Office Manager, Tamara Hedgepeth. Known for her patience and understanding, Messy is the best secret keeper in town and promises to show you that there is hope and love after a divorce.
